About 05
05creative is a graphic design consultancy with a long track record of producing original, creative design. We provide an ‘all-round’ service for Print, Web, Exhibition and Brand Identity. Our client base is broad in size and industry. See our client list and testimonials below.
Our approach is collaborative; we encourage our clients to be part of our creative process and we work with other vendors.
We’re based in Brighton (Hove actually), but we serve Clients all around London and South East.
Why work with us?
If you’re going to say something, mean it. Well considered graphic design will enhance any visual communication. If you don’t allocate time and budget for this part of your communications, you’re less likely to produce something that really resonates with your intended audience or provoke a positive response.
Our underpinning skill lies in understanding Client needs and objectives. We’re experienced with working within brand guidelines and helping new businesses establish their own identity.
Each customer represents a new learning opportunity and we’re kept fresh by learning from their experience, their market and often their inspired business vision.

Testimonials
So, we’ve just started asking people to say something nice about us, after we’ve completed a project with them. It feels a bit odd – fishing for compliments. But if it helps assure you of our integrity as a service, then let the fishing commence.
NHS Trust (interior graphics project)
“The RNOH commissioned Chris James to develop three very specific pieces of work for the new London Assessment Centre which has recently been nominated in the Building Better Healthcare Awards 2010 for Best Use of Visual Art. We specified works that reflected the quality of care and expertise offered by our clinical staff, assisted in way finding, engaged and distracted patients and visitors and provided the story of the organisation. Chris worked closely with the building contractor, RNOH clinicians and historians to develop the pieces that tell the history of the hospital from the 1850′s, the construction of the new building and the future of musculo-skeletal orthopaedics. The target audience includes children and the pieces needed to be accessible to all. His level of engagement with the team and commitment to the project was whole hearted, thoroughly enjoyable and has resulted in three stunning pieces that are thoroughly enjoyed by staff, patients and visitors alike. The works speak for themselves, will have longevity in the organisation and perhaps even inspire future doctors, construction engineers, quantity surveyors and architects!”

Enexos (brand identity project)
“Enexos retained Chris James at 05 Creative to lead us in a branding/re-naming exercise, and then, using the results generated, to design a new corporate logo and a suite of business stationery. On all counts, the process was a great success. It’s amazing how confident a small business becomes when it can present a truly world class corporate image … something we can now do as a result of Chris’ efforts.”
